We Are Scientists Release the Potent New Album, ‘Huffy’

The new album from We Are Scientists arrives today.

Featuring a number of highly acclaimed cuts, from lead single ‘Contact High’ to this week’s latest euphoric slice of summary indie pop ‘Sentimental Education‘, this is an album that doesn’t let up from start to finish.

The crunching riffs of ‘Fault Lines’ and the classic lockdown smash ‘I Cut My Own Hair’ stand as some of the biggest sounding rock songs of their 15 year career, yet the album still finds time to take some playfully unexpected turns on tracks like ‘Bought Myself A Grave’ – a Dolly Parton meets Daft Punk delight. On Huffy, We Are Scientists prove they’ve always held the winning formula for guitar pop hits with perfect hooks, and have now outdone themselves in how to keep it fresh and exciting.

Impeccably packaged and packed with hits, the 10 tracks of Huffy are all packing a punch – both sonically and alcoholically… As this potent collection of songs is also accompanied by a custom cocktail menu cooked up by the Scientists themselves. The vinyl, available in 10 different colours, corresponds to a matching cocktail recipe, including the likes of Dog TongueWitch EyesEarth ScoopTrue DenimPlum Damage and more. Every copy of of the album is also supplied with sticker sheets allowing fans to choose their own unique cover designs.

Tonight, celebrating the release, Chris and Keith are hosting a digital livestreaming party for fans around the world, performing a range of new songs at 7pm BST. Later a 8, more fans get the the chance to virtually meet & greet via the QJAM app, chatting one on one and receiving an even more unique digital artwork signed by the band. For more info on where to get the album, and how join the YouTube release party and QJAM meet & greet click here.
