SM Mall of Asia Receives the Safety Seal

The Safety Seal of MOA was handed to SM Supermalls SVP for Operations Bien C. Mateo by Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto - Rubiano, Pasay City Congressman Antonino Calixto, DILG Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya, and DTI Undersecretary Ireneo Vizmonte.
Affirming its strict compliance to the government-mandated safety protocols, the SM Mall of Asia (MoA) was the first establishment to receive the Safety Seal certification by the local government of Pasay last June 11.

The certification comes from the COVID-19 Inter-Agency Task Force’s safety program which includes representatives from the Department of the Interior and Local Government, Department of Tourism, Department of Health, Department of Trade and Industry, and Department of Labor and Employment.
The Safety Seal Certification is a voluntary certification scheme that affirms that an establishment is compliant with the minimum public health standards set by the government and uses or integrates its contact tracing with StaySafe.ph.
According to SM Supermalls Senior Vice President for Operations Bien C. Mateo, SM Supermalls is fully commitment to uphold the minimum public health standards with the well-being of our shoppers in mind.
The seal will be displayed on strategic spots at all entrance points according to prescribed dimensions and can be obtained at no cost to the establishment.
