UNIQLO Shares the Gift of LifeWear

UNIQLO welcomes the holiday season with its “Give What You Love: Celebrating the Gift of Lifewear” gift-giving event for the children of Bantay Bata and Virlanie Foundation.

To celebrate the season of giving, 40 children were treated to a holiday shopping spree at UNIQLO MANILA Global Flagship Store.

Following a sweet serenade from Jose Mari Chan, and Oh, Flamingo!, the children were given the chance to choose from the store’s extensive lineup of LifeWear items for their own holiday outfits.

Already on its second year, the event shifts the attention from receiving presents to sharing the gift of LifeWear with even more Filipinos.

“UNIQLO has always believed in the transformative power of clothing. More than just bringing comfort to our customers through our apparel. it is also our mission to share our LifeWear to members of our community who don’t often have access to our clothing and to our stores.” – Geraldine Sia, UNIQLO Philippines Co-COO

To get into the holiday spirit, UNIQLO invited its customers to participate in its sustainability program, the All-Product Recycling initiative, in which customers were encouraged to donate articles of clothing to UNIQLO stores to give back to local communities. 10 lucky donors were selected to attend the event to share the holiday cheer with the kids.

All-Product Recycling donation boxes will be available year-round in all stores. UNIQLO calls on more Filipinos to donate pre-loved clothes to continue spreading the gift of LifeWear even after the holidays.
