Acer’s annual Next@Acer Global Press Conference at IFA in Berlin was recently held where the tech giant showcases all of their new products in a rapid-fire presentation.
First up, Acer announced an elegant refresh of its Aspire Z 24 all-in-one PC and brand-new additions to the Aspire 7, Aspire 5, and Aspire 3 notebooks series. All powered by Windows 10, the Aspire series PCs cater to the needs of a wide range of users, spanning from the Aspire Z 24 all-in-one home PC for families, the multipurpose and student-friendly Aspire 3 notebook, the practical and functionality-driven Aspire 5 notebook for work and play, to the top-of-the-line Aspire 7 notebook for creators, designers and prosumers. 
- The Aspire Z 24 all-in-one is stylish and designed for web browsing, social media posting, watching movies and casual gaming, making it ideal as the centerpiece for the living room
- The Aspire Z 24 is powered by the latest 8th Gen Intel® Core™ i7+ desktop processors, with support for up to 32GB of Intel® Optane™ memory and NVIDIA® GeForce® MX150 graphics
- The Aspire 7 notebook weighs 1.5 kg, measures 358 x 247.5 x 16.9 mm, and at its heart lies a powerful 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8705G or i5-8305G processor featuring Radeon™ RX Vega M GL graphics
- The Aspire 5 mid-range notebook is ideal for families and users who need a powerful, and function-rich notebook for media consumption
- The Aspire 3 entry-level notebook comes in vivid colors and is perfect for delivering powerful multimedia experiences and entertainment
Acer also announced the pricing and availability of the Swift 5 (SF515-51T) notebook, the world’s lightest notebook PC with a 15-inch display. Designed for discerning customers who want an envy-inducing PC, the Swift 5 delivers exceptional performance in an elegant chassis that weighs less than one kilogram (990 g/2.2 pounds).

Acer announced its new Acer Windows Mixed Reality headset, the Acer OJO 500. The new headset features a one-of-a-kind detachable design that offers superior flexibility, comfort, and hygiene for consumers and businesses.
- The Acer OJO 500 is the first Windows Mixed Reality headset and first Virtual Reality headset to feature a detachable design, patented built-in sound pipe technology, and software-assisted interpupillary distance (IPD) adjustment technology
- The headset’s unique detachable design makes it easy to clean and share among multiple users (family and friends, or in a business environment)
- Available with either a hard head strap or soft washable head strap; each provides a snug yet comfortable fit to keep the headset firmly in place

The new Acer PL and SL series projectors—the Acer PL6610 (WUXGA), PL6510 (1080p), SL6610 (WUXGA) and the SL6510 (1080p)—powered by laser light sources, with the SL series offering short throw projection in tight spaces such as classrooms, and the PL series for customers who are less space conscious. Designed for customers looking for a reliable, low maintenance projector solution, they are optimized for large venues and demanding commercial and educational applications.

Lastly, Acer unveiled a host of new products in its expanding Predator and Nitro gaming portfolio with the launch of four new gaming monitors that bring games to life, a next-level gaming chair and a complete set of gaming gadgets.
