ZALORA PH Fuels Retail Innovation with New Pop-Up Store

After pioneering the country’s first click-and-mortar concept in 2015, Asia’s leading online fashion destination, ZALORA Philippines, is once again revolutionizing retail innovation with the opening of its latest ZALORA Pop-Up Store.

In partnership with Ayala Malls, the new ZALORA Pop-Up Store takes on a contemporary caravan concept as it moves to different key Ayala Malls locations around the country. This new proprietary format goes beyond being a stylized retail showroom and features exclusive styles from top brands by infusing digital experiential elements with practical online-to-offline services for a seamless omni-channel customer journey.

Further strengthening ZALORA’s omni-channel retail approach is its partnership with Ayala Malls, one of the largest shopping mall retailers in the country. “Ayala Malls’ strong foothold in offline retail combined with ZALORA’s expertise in digital marketing and e-commerce are the core building blocks of our goal to change the retail landscape in the country,” added Campos.
This year, the ZALORA Pop-Up Store design is a collaboration with innovative enterprise Revolution Precrafted Properties, resulting in a modern, modular and high-design structure that is both mobile and portable. The first location in Bonifacio High Street features top British labels Topshop and TOPMAN, in partnership with Robinsons Specialty Stores, Inc.
With the introduction of other exciting brands not yet present in the Philippines in the next ZALORA Pop-Up Store locations, the roving concept provides the perfect avenue for brands to showcase exclusive collections to a diverse group of customers, experiment with innovative ideas, and host brand activations that excite consumers and give them a reason to always come back for something fresh and exciting.
 
Introducing the “Store of the Future”

Constantly pushing the boundaries of retailing, the ZALORA Pop-Up Store is a one-stop digital, fashion, and lifestyle concept store as ZALORA aims to create a social and collaborative space, bringing omni-channel retail to life with these features:

  • CLICK + CONNECT – Beyond one-CLICK quick retail, the Pop-Up store will allow customers to CONNECT with ZALORA and the people behind it. Customers who order online may now collect their purchases at the ZALORA Pop-Up Store, which also serves as a central location for hassle-free order returns and exchanges. To give a more personalized service, ZALORA’s Fashion Consultants also engage with customers as they share expert style advice and walk them through the ZALORA shopping experience
  • Digital retail showcase for brands – Customers can see, touch and fit a curated selection of apparel and shoes, while still being able to browse the entire online collection using tablets, phones and laptops that will be displayed throughout the space. Orders made at the Pop-Up Store will be delivered straight to the customer’s doorstep, eliminating the hassle of having to carry loads of bags that come with every shopping trip
  • Like It, Scan It, Buy It – Allows customers to directly add items to their cart or wishlist when they scan the product barcode on the hang tag using their mobile device. Every time a customer saves an item on their ZALORA account, they can get similar style recommendations for a more personalized customer journey
  • Beacon technology – Prompts customers on their mobile devices with exclusive deals as they walk into the store, as well as provides in-store analytics to further enhance personalized services to customers
  • Motion Gallery – Augmented reality allows brand partners to engage customers with interactive storytelling. This can be experienced through Huawei’s latest mobile phone, the Huawei P10, which will be part of the Pop-Up Store’s digital display
  • Smart Lighting – Special lighting is activated when a customer touches a product to highlight a certain section of the store for an immersive shopping experience

Bringing the best of both online and offline retail, The ZALORA Pop-Up Store gives customers the confidence from traditional shopping with the ease and convenience of online shopping in one innovative and interactive venue.
The ZALORA Pop-Up Store was also created in partnership with MasterCard, who has supported ZALORA’s Pop-Up Store since its first edition.  Exclusive offers await customers who use their MasterCard Credit Card for every transaction. MasterCard holders can expect an extra 5% discount every Monday for purchases made in the ZALORA Pop-Up Store.
The ZALORA Pop-Up Store is in partnership with Ayala Malls, Huawei, Revolution Pre-crafted and MasterCard.
